Anthropology is a broad subject, yet many of today’s anthropologists are tending to learn more and more about less and less. Anthroswap is intended to not specialize, a post on a new discovery on how mirror neurons helped shape civilization one day, a post on an interesting cultural experience the next day. Anthroswap is meant to be as broad a blog as Anthropology is a subject.
The chief concern of the Anthropologist should be in answering the question, “What defines being human?”
The answer being that, everything we concern ourselves with, defines us. Anthroswap explores the phenomenon of humanity, from the perspective of the undergraduate anthropology major, Matthew Garvin, as he further integrates himself into the city/state/country/continent/world he calls his home.
